I am sitting in Klagenfurt Austria at the 11th International Conference on Applications of Natural Language to Information Systems (NLDB). There are quite a few prominent scientists who work on internet search, ontologies, and natural language interfaces to information stores of all sorts. I talked about Web2.0 and Folksonomies, and to my surprise not a single one of them had ever heard of either! It was a bit of a shock, since I had come to believe that del.icio.us had already taken over the world!

Anyway, Klagenfurt is a fabulous little place, right at the foot of the Austrian Alps.
